"The Plains, Wide Open, Alive" - Free Mini-album... →
Today is the day I finally finished my digital mini-Doppelgänger version of “The Plains,” called “The Plains, Wide Open, Alive.” This is a link to where you can download it and/or buy it from Bandcamp. It’s a collection of songs from the album recorded in our rehearsal space (with a bunch of overdubs), arranged to reflect the songs as they are played live - or, more...

Winter Madness, Fragments: Los Angeles
My sleep has been disrupted lately by bouts of anxiety accompanied by flashbacks from Los Angeles, memories from a couple of years ago. It isn’t the artificial, plastic Hollywood of the movies, nor the gritty, boisterous L.A. of the tabloids, but something much more immediate and sensual, a flurry of fragmented memories that seem infinitely far removed from the present. Article in Finnish on Our "Fat Bastards"... →
Juho Alajuuma and I are working together on a soundtrack for a theater piece called “Fat Bastards,” which will be performed at the Baltic Circle theater festival next month (November 16th-19th in Suvilahti, Helsinki).
