A Girl Named Wolf

Stolen Memories, Pt. 19
This is the first of the photographs I found in Finland. The three people in the middle must be siblings. Look at those faces! I’ve always been fascinated by the similarities and variations in appearance between close relatives. You get to see evolution in practice. In fact, one thing I could never understand about bible-thumping Creationists is how they fail to see that evolution is one of the most incredibly beautiful things God ever invented (if you happen to believe in God despite believing in evolution, ha). I find myself tempted to digress into an entire metaphysical conversation about human time vs. divine time in Christianity and Hinduism, in relation to the Bible’s creation myth, but maybe I should stick to the subject.
The girl in white hovers over them like a ghost or an angel. She gives me the feeling this picture was taken around Midsummer Night.
