"The Plains, Wide Open, Alive" - Free Mini-album Out Now!
Today is the day I finally finished my digital mini-Doppelgänger version of “The Plains,” called “The Plains, Wide Open, Alive.” This is a link to where you can download it and/or buy it from Bandcamp. It’s a collection of songs from the album recorded in our rehearsal space (with a bunch of overdubs), arranged to reflect the songs as they are played live - or, more precisely, how they would be if I had a nice, big choir of backing vocalists. It isn’t strictly a live album, but we recorded the drums and harmonium live, and built up from there. One might think of this as my last farewell to “The Plains” before recording my next album. I hope you like it. I’m keeping “The Plains, Wide Open, Alive” payment-optional all month. Enjoy it, share it, spread the word! This is my gift to all of you.
